We are Proud to Announce Grant Horvat as an Owner!

On July 9, 2021, we sent Grant Horvat a DM that said “Gotta get you wearing our joggers!”. Now, about 3 years later, we are proud to announce Grant as an owner of Primo.

When we started Primo back in June 2020, we had no idea where this would take us. Starting an apparel company was something that we were completely unfamiliar with. Right from the start, we knew that it would be important to develop partnerships that would allow us to get as much exposure as possible. Through Instagram, we were able to make some incredible friendships with golfers that have helped spread the word.

As we bring Grant in as an owner, it’s been fun to think back through everything that led us to this point. When Grant started wearing our joggers back in 2021, we didn’t have any sort of official partnership. In fact, we just occasionally shipped him new jogger colors and crossed our fingers that he’d wear them! And luckily for us - he did. And every time he’d wear them, people in the comments would go crazy. Some people hated the joggers, a lot of people loved them - but everyone noticed them.

When we had the opportunity to sign Grant, it was a no-brainer. We knew that it was an opportunity to develop a partnership that could elevate Primo as a brand. For those who know and love Grant, they are well aware of what makes him special. For us, we loved that he takes the game of golf seriously, but also knows how to bring a fun and uplifting vibe into everything that he does.  We love that he sincerely cares for those around him. When you spend a good amount of time around Grant, it’s inevitable that you’ll see someone come up to him and say something like, “Grant, you inspired me to get back into golf! I literally watch all of your videos!” And without fail, Grant treats those people as if they’re old friends. He greets them with his million dollar smile and happily takes a picture with them.

Having Grant as an owner brings numerous benefits to Primo. Naturally, we benefit from one of YouTube Golf’s top stars wearing our gear and shouting us out. But as an owner, things change a little bit. Grant can now proudly use the word “we” when talking about Primo. In addition, Grant is knowledgeable and opinionated about golf apparel. He now joins us in meetings to discuss ideas and future plans for product releases. You can look forward to limited Grant Horvat drops for years to come!

We see this as a huge step for Primo. We are more committed than ever to developing and releasing the best apparel in golf. We understand that it’s a process and we are grateful to all of our customers for supporting and believing in us.
